As we close out 2025, our hearts are incredibly full.
Yesterday, we had the honor of recognizing Jacque Doss as our Volunteer of the Year, and there truly aren’t enough words to express our gratitude. Jacque is the definition of heart-led service. Her dedication, compassion, and unwavering belief in the mission of Healing Seed VA and The Green Thread Project shine through in everything she does. She shows up, she cares deeply, and she believes in this cause the same way we do. We are so incredibly thankful for you, Jacque — this work would not be the same without you. 
We also want to take a moment to reflect on what together we have accomplished in such a short time.
Since our very first event on June 14, 2025, our community has made an incredible impact:

12,963 pieces of adult clothing
931 pairs of adult shoes
6,696 pieces of children’s clothing
454 pairs of kids’ shoes
1,123 hygiene kits
953 laundry kits
Plus countless blankets, sleeping bags, and accessories
These numbers represent real people, real families, and real moments of dignity, warmth, and care. We are beyond proud of what has been accomplished and deeply grateful to every volunteer, donor, sponsor, and supporter who made this possible.
